    Job Overview & Responsibilities

    KMS Solutions is seeking a System Safety Engineer. The individual will perform safety analyses for US Navy Submarine Weapons, Weapon Control Systems, and Unmanned Undersea Vehicles. This individual will perform various analyses to identify and mitigate hazards associated with various software suites, including, but not limited to the MK48 or MK54 Torpedoes. Knowledge of MIL-STD-882E is a plus. Ability to understand and program in C++ is desired.

    Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
    3 years experience in software engineering or systems development
    Working knowledge of C++
    Percentage of travel: less than 10%
